Welcome to Persepolis, a sprawling city set in the far future. Among the things the city is known for is a mysterious phenomenon called the Nightstream, portals of energy and data that appear and disappear seemingly at random. Over the years , a culture of Runners emerged, urban hoverboarders who chase these portals for thrill-seeking rides into the Nightstream.
